ZOOM! Calling All Coffee Drinkers and Smokers!! Our office utilizes the Zoom! chair-side whitening procedure as seen on the television show Extreme Makeover™. The procedure for Zoom! whitening is quick and painless. Whether your teeth are discolored or stained from smoking, coffee, or any other foods, a beautiful smile could be closer than you think. How It's Done... Your lips are protected and isolated from your teeth using a dental retractor. Whitening gel is then uniformly placed on your teeth. The gel is activated by a specially designed light that is directed at the teeth. The entire procedure takes just over an hour. The results are usually between 6 and 10 shades whiter. How Long Does It Last? The length of time your teeth retain whitening results varies from person to person and is dependent on how well you care for your teeth. Dr. Yusupov will provide information on how to enjoy your white teeth for the maximum length of time possible. In most cases the Zoom! whitening procedure is done 2 times a year.
